Capy Sync

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

In short: Capy Sync reads your health data on your own devices. The developer never receives it. It only leaves your device if you set up a webhook or export it yourself.

Health data the app reads

With your permission, Capy Sync reads steps, walking and running distance, workouts, sleep, heart rate, weight and activity rings from Apple Health. It only reads this data and never writes to Apple Health. You can change or remove access at any time in the Settings app, under Health → Data Access & Devices → Capy Sync.

The Apple Watch app reads the same kinds of data, other than heart rate and weight, from the watch's own health store.

Where your data goes

Your health data is used on your device to show it in the app, widgets, Live Activity, watch app and complications.

It leaves your device in only two ways, both of which you choose:

The developer runs no servers that receive your data, and never sells it or uses it for advertising.

Settings stored on your device

Your webhook URL, authorisation header and other settings are stored on your device, along with recent figures that the widgets and complications display. They are not sent to the developer.

Analytics, ads and tracking

Capy Sync has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not use third-party SDKs that collect data. There are no accounts to create.

Purchases

The free trial and the unlock are handled by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your name or payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.

This website

This site uses no cookies or analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it.

Children

Capy Sync is not directed at children, and the developer does not knowingly collect any information from them.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its settings and stored figures from your device. Your data in Apple Health is not affected. Data already sent to a webhook is held by that endpoint, and needs deleting there.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date.
